Stuart Henrickson

Stuart has over 25 years of experience providing advisory services to businesses, from start-ups to large multi-nationals. He has raised over $20 billion through private placements, IPOs, debt offering and structured products.

Prior to founding Red Leaf Capital in 2009, Stuart worked for Merrill Lynch, CIBC, and HSBC in Canada. He also spent 11 years overseas as Managing Director of Investment Banking for the National Bank of Abu Dhabi, and the CEO of Standard Bank (MENA Region) in Dubai. Stuart also serves on many boards and has been Board Chair of North Forge Technology Exchange (2017 Stuart-up Canada award winner) for the past 5 years.

Shane Li

Shane Li oversees each of the Company's divisions, venture investments, portfolio management, capital raising and management, and international relationships as well. He has over 9 years experience providing advisory services to businesses in both public and private sectors, from start-ups to large multi-nations.

Before joining Red Leaf Capital, Shane served as the President of North Forge East Business & Technology Incubator and as the Senior Economic Development Officer of the Municipality of Pinawa. Shane is also an Instructor at the University of Manitoba's Asper School of Business.

Alphonsus Utioh

Alphonsus Utioh is the Manager of Research and Development at the Food Development Centre. He has over thirty years experience in the agri-food industry. He is recognized internationally for his work in seabuckthorn research. Alphonsus is a member of the Scientific Committee of the International Seabuckthorn Association headquartered in Beijing, China. Alphonsus is a registered Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Manitoba, and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Human Nutritional Sciences, University of Manitoba.

Yang Wang

Mr.Wang is the Chief Scientist of Huawei(Canada). His research focuses on computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence. Yang Wang is also an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science, University of Manitoba. He received a best paper award at CRV'16 conference and the Terry G. Falconer Memorial Rh Institute Foundation Emerging Researcher Award at the University of Manitoba in 2017. He regularly serves as area chair and program committee in major conferences in computer vision and machine learning.

Derek Earl

Derek Earl is the Vice-President of the World Trade Centre Winnipeg, overseeing international trade strategy, operations, government relations, Indigenous relations, and client services for the organization. A senior executive with over 15 years experience in business and international trade, Derek has advised and assisted hundreds of companies with their international business development.

Derek oversees the WTC Winnipeg’s northern and Arctic strategies, working with entrepreneurs, businesses, communities, and networks across Northern Canada, the United States, and Europe.

John Glass

Mr. Glass is the Managing Principal and founder of RM Advisory Services LLC. He a seasoned financial professional with over 30 years of audit and accounting experience, including extensive experience with Big Four accounting, mergers & acquisitions, initial public offerings, SEC compliance and the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance process. His consulting experience includes substantive involvement with six IPOs in his career, the development and implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance programs, reengineering financial systems to shorten the month-end close cycle, financial modeling, M&A support, and other financial planning projects.

James Blatz

James Blatz is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer and founding partner at TREK with 20 years of experience in consulting and applied research. James also has extensive research experience in the areas of geosynthetic soil reinforcement, ground improvement techniques, temporary flood protection products and probabilistic slope stability analysis. James is President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at TREK and a key member of TREK’s leadership team.

Dr. Adolf Ng
